Is the rag
100% cotton? |

Now days there
is very little 100% cotton available. This
is due to blends of cotton and acrylic being
widely used. We endeavor to use blends containing
a minimum 75% of cotton. |

| Q.
|
Is it true
all claims of rag being metal detected mean
the same? |
| A. |
NO Claims of
metal detecting rag is and can be very misleading.
All metal detections systems are different
just like cars. Some are more sensitive and
will detect smaller metal parts and various
different types of metal. The simple fact
is unless a minimum detectable size is specified
and maintained metal detectors sensitivity
can be adjusted and or de-sensitized to allow
for things such as product effect resulting
in much larger metal parts going undetected,
yet it can still be claimed as metal detected.
Our machine is tuned to automatically reject
items as small as 29guage super fine syringe
needles (or similar signal) through all orientations
and with a great deal accuracy and repeatability.
In fact we use a syringe as our test standard.
